It includes the factory multi-plate mounting kit, two 15-round steel magazines, and four interchangeable palmswell backstraps. The M&P9 M2.0 Compact Optics Ready is built around a 4.0-inch stainless-steel barrel and slide with Smith & Wesson's Armornite finish for durability. An extended embedded stainless-steel chassis enhances rigidity in the polymer frame, contributing to controllability and consistency.
The slide is cut for optics and ships with the factory multi-plate mounting system and cover plate, so you can match common footprints. Tall fixed 3-dot sights provide a clear sight picture and are co-witness-capable with mounted optics. Scalloped front and rear slide serrations aid confident manipulation.
This striker-fired 9mm features a hinged two-piece trigger with a tactile and audible reset. Capacity is 15+1 with the included steel double-stack magazines. The barrel uses 1:10 RH rifling with 5 lands and grooves, and the sight radius measures 6.4 inches.
Controls are user-friendly, with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release. The hinged trigger safety and sear deactivation system support safe handling, and the take-down lever with the sear deactivation system allows disassembly without pressing the trigger. A three-slot accessory rail accepts compatible lights or lasers.
Ergonomics are easily tailored using the four included M2.0 palmswell backstraps (S, M, ML, L). The pistol is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A." and is made in the United States.
