The P22Q Military submodel pairs a durable polymer frame in OD green with a dark zinc-alloy slide for a distinctive two-tone look. It uses a steel barrel and an external-hammer DA/SA trigger system, with ambidextrous slide-mounted manual safety levers and a paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release.
The 3.42-inch barrel is threaded and ships with a thread protector, making it suppressor-ready out of the box. Its straight-blowback, semi-automatic action is tailored to .22 LR, and the slide design includes a side ejection port.
Sighting is straightforward and low profile with a three-dot setup: a one-dot front and a windage-adjustable two-dot rear. The dustcover hosts a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with four usable slots for mounting compatible accessories.
German manufacture and markings include the DE country code, Eagle over N proof, Ulm stag antler proof, and "CARL WALTHER ULM/DO. MADE IN GERMANY" legend. A BD date code confirms 2013 production. The slide features front and rear serrations and a raised Walther banner.
This compact rimfire ships with a 10-round magazine featuring a finger-rest baseplate, and the frame accepts interchangeable backstraps for grip fit, including the spare backstrap provided.
