Izhmash Saiga-12 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun, RAAC Pre-Ban, 19 in Threaded Barrel, AK-Pattern, Custom Upgrades, 3x 10-Round Mags
This Russian-made Izhmash Saiga-12 is a RAAC-imported, pre-2014 example with factory markings and proofs intact. It retains the AK-pattern, detachable-magazine design and long-stroke gas system, paired with a 19-inch threaded barrel. This shotgun comes upgraded with U.S.-made furniture and includes three 10-round SGM Tactical magazines.
Authentic factory markings include the Izhmash/Izhevsk triangle-and-arrow logo, Cyrillic acceptance stamps, and receiver roll-marks reading "САЙГА-12" and "MADE IN RUSSIA BY IZHMASH." The importer stamp is Russian-American Armory Company, Scottsburg, IN, and a two-digit "08" stamp is adjacent to the proofs. It is a RAAC-era pre-ban import from before the 2014 U.S. sanctions halted new Russian Saiga imports.
The shotgun uses the AK-pattern, long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt and a standard rock-and-lock magazine interface with no magazine well block. It features AK-pattern open sights with an AK-pattern rear sight block, a smooth, non-ribbed AK-100/modern Saiga-style top cover, and the AK-style manual safety lever. The selector markings are "S–O–E," and the charging handle is on the right side.
The 19-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an aftermarket U.S.-marked multi-port muzzle brake with a crenellated crown. The black paint-over-phosphate finish covers the stamped-steel receiver and complements the upgraded furniture.
Custom components include a tan polymer railed handguard (Made in USA) with bolt-on Picatinny segments and an angled foregrip. The rear is fitted with a Phoenix Technologies telescoping AR-style stock, paired with a tan polymer pistol grip and a receiver adapter/tube for the AR-style stock. Capacity is 10+1, and three 10-round SGM Tactical polymer magazines are included.
