This P938 Nightmare is the micro variant of SIG's single-action, hammer-fired 9mm line, offering a 3.0 in barrel, 5.9 in overall length, 3.9 in height, and 1.1 in width (with ambidextrous safety). Capacity is 7+1 with the included magazine, and the unloaded weight is approximately 16.0 oz with the magazine inserted.
The slide is finished in black Nitron and features rear cocking serrations and an external extractor. The black anodized aluminum alloy frame uses a beavertail profile without a lanyard/cord loop at the rear of the frame tang. Bright silver ambidextrous safety levers and a matching slide stop provide clear control contrast.
Sight alignment is handled by tritium 3-dot night sights. The front sight is a Trijicon H3 tritium unit with an orange ring for fast indexing, and the rear sight is a dovetailed tritium assembly.
Ergonomics are enhanced with black textured wraparound rubber grips that include finger grooves for a secure hold on the micro frame. The single-stack magazine uses a finger-extension baseplate that adds purchase without adding unnecessary bulk. The frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC., EXETER - NH - USA" and the pistol is made in the USA.
