- .22 Long Rifle spare cylinder (not installed)
Factory-built as a dual-cylinder model, this revolver is currently fitted with the six-shot fluted .22 Magnum cylinder marked '.22 MAG' and includes the spare .22 LR cylinder marked '.22 L.R.' The convertible setup offers two rimfire chamberings in one platform while retaining the classic single-action manual of arms.
Construction and finish are true to the model: a color casehardened steel frame paired with a blued steel barrel and cylinder, complemented by a two-piece alloy grip frame—separate trigger guard/front strap and backstrap joined by screws—per the Peacemaker .22 standard. The black checkered composite American Eagle grips feature Rampant Colt medallions, reinforcing the period-correct Colt styling.
The revolver follows a 7/8-scale Single Action Army pattern with a single-action-only mechanism, right-side loading gate, SAA-style base pin latch, and an ejector-rod housing along the right side of the barrel. Sights are fixed, with a blade front and a rear notch integral to the topstrap for a clean, durable sight picture.
The 6-inch barrel is roll-marked 'PEACEMAKER .22' with the top address 'COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.' The round-top frame and fixed rear notch complete the classic profile.
As a 1970s Colt produced in 1976, it captures the look and feel of Colt’s rimfire Single Action line from that era.
