The 4.5F Comp configuration uses a hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel with an integral single-port compensator and a corresponding single top port in the slide to help manage muzzle rise. The billet-machined slide and steel components carry a durable Melonite finish for corrosion resistance.
The slide features Springfield’s VIS direct-mount optic interface with a cover plate, allowing direct mounting of compatible optics using the included screws and locator pins. Sights are a tritium/luminescent front with a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear for fast indexing in varied light.
At the core is the serialized stainless-steel Central Operating Group chassis housed in a modular polymer grip module with interchangeable backstraps and aggressive texturing. The grip module accepts JM Custom Grips products, offering additional aftermarket fit options if desired.
This full-size, striker-fired 9mm includes a 4-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover and a trigger safety. Capacity is 20+1 with the included steel magazines. The pistol is produced in Croatia by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory, and the factory case label reflects model code EC9459B-U-COMP.
