Released in 2010, this 25th Anniversary Limited Edition commemorates 25 years of U.S. M9 service (1985–2010). It carries military-style slide markings, including 'U.S. 9mm M9 - BERETTA U.S.A. - 65490' and 'ASSY 9346487-65490', along with a commemorative serial format of M9-10-#### that identifies the special run.
Manufacture is U.S.-based.
The pistol wears smooth walnut grip panels set with '25' Beretta medallions, distinguishing it from standard production. Its frame retains the non-railed straight dust cover and a lanyard loop, staying true to the traditional M9 profile.
Construction is anchored by a steel slide and barrel with Bruniton over phosphate protection and a chrome-lined bore. The action is DA/SA, hammer-fired, using the proven short-recoil system with a falling locking block. A slide-mounted safety/decocker with a red 'fire' index dot and the open-top slide design are signature M9 features.
Practical features include a 4.9 in barrel, 15+1 capacity, and fixed dot-and-post sights with a white-dot front blade and a rear notch featuring a centered vertical white post. The anodized aluminum alloy frame keeps weight balanced for full-size carry and control.
