It features the XCR series TriNyte corrosion-control finish, a 26 in non-fluted sporter-taper barrel, and a synthetic stock with rubberized grip and forend inserts. The rifle includes installed two-piece scope bases and carries classic Model 700 details like a jeweled bolt and a BDL-style hinged floorplate. The Model 700 XCR is built around Remington’s stainless steel receiver and a 26 in stainless, non-fluted sporter-taper barrel, matched to a long-action magnum footprint for the 7mm Rem. Ultra Mag. cartridge. Capacity is 3+1 via an internal magazine with a BDL-style hinged floorplate.
Designed for durability, the rifle wears the XCR series TriNyte corrosion-control finish over a matte stainless/silver exterior. The engine-turned (jeweled) bolt body adds a refined factory touch while aiding smooth cycling.
The black synthetic stock uses gray rubberized inserts on the grip and forend for secure purchase. It features a straight comb, a recoil pad, and factory sling-swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.25 in.
The receiver is drilled and tapped, and two-piece scope bases are already installed. The rifle is set up without iron sights. Marked with the REP in oval proof, it is made in the United States.
