The Gen 3 configuration features the classic Glock grip with finger grooves and a pebble texture, paired with a compact 4.02-inch barrel that balances concealability and control. This G19 accepts larger-capacity Glock 9mm magazines from the same family, adding flexibility for range use or duty rotation.
The slide wears a matte black finish with rear vertical serrations for positive manipulation. Sights are fixed polymer, with a white-dot front and a square-notch rear for a simple, durable sight picture. The left-side, small magazine release reflects the Gen 3 layout.
Construction is anchored by a steel barrel and a black polymer frame with the Glock single-slot accessory rail on the dust cover for light or laser attachment. The pistol uses a striker-fired action with Glock's integrated safeties: trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety.
