The V1 configuration provides a DA/SA trigger with a left-side manual safety/decocker. Ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and ambidextrous slide releases support quick, intuitive operation for either hand. An exposed spurred hammer offers clear status and easy thumb control.
The installed factory 4.57-inch threaded barrel mirrors the HK45C Tactical length and includes a knurled thread protector. HK45-series barrels use an O-ring at the muzzle to enhance lockup, and this barrel features 6-groove, right-hand polygonal rifling.
The compact polymer frame keeps weight manageable while retaining an integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rail. Low-profile 3-dot iron sights include a front post with a single dot and a rear square-notch with two dots for a clean, fast sight picture.
Metal components wear HK’s Hostile Environment finish. The frame is marked Made in USA, and the spare non-threaded HK barrel is DE-marked. Capacity is 10+1, with both flush-fit and extended steel magazines included to tailor carry and shooting preferences.
