The Predator Gen I configuration centers on an 18 in heavy/medium-contour, cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel finished in matte black. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and ships with a thread protector, providing flexibility for compatible muzzle devices.
The action uses a right-hand three-lug bolt with a 70-degree throw for smooth cycling and ample scope clearance. Safety features include a two-position tang safety and an integrated trigger safety blade. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is user-adjustable from 3 to 5 lb to suit preference.
Ruger's Power Bedding system beds the action and free-floats the barrel for consistent support. The stock is OD green (moss) synthetic with textured grip and forend, a black recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0 in.
