This Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS pairs a compact 4.25-inch bushingless, match-grade stainless bull barrel with a forged carbon-steel slide and receiver, all finished in black Cerakote. It features the Agency Optic System (AOS) optics cut; the AOS cover/optic plate is not installed on this specimen. This example is in excellent condition and comes with six factory double-stack magazines plus both the original box and a Springfield-branded soft case. Note: The factory box label shows SKU PH9117AOS-COMP (“Prodigy 4.25” 9mm w/ AOS w/ Comp”), but the pistol is the standard non‑COMP 4.25" Prodigy and no compensator is included. The serial number on the box label matches the pistol.

The 4.25-inch barrel is a bushingless, match-grade stainless bull profile designed for tight lockup and consistent accuracy. The slide and receiver are forged carbon steel with a uniform black Cerakote finish for durability and a clean, modern look.
The AOS (Agency Optic System) optics cut uses a modular steel plate interface that integrates the rear sight when a plate is installed. The interface is currently open with no plate installed.
The double-stack polymer grip module features wraparound texturing with a pronounced palm swell for a secure hold, plus a flared magwell opening to speed reloads. Capacity is 20+1, and this pistol ships with five 20-round magazines and one 17-round magazine.
Controls include single-action-only operation with a manual thumb safety and grip safety. It sports a lightened 3-hole, overtravel‑adjustable trigger and a skeletonized commander‑style hammer. An integral 1913 accessory rail is machined into the dust cover. The serial on the factory box label matches the frame. Made in the USA.
