This Griffin Armament MK2 combines a factory ambidextrous MK2 lower with a BCM upper and a BCM MCMR-13 free-float M-LOK handguard, creating a capable, feature-forward AR-15 in 5.56 NATO. A 14.5 inch barrel with a SureFire three-prong flash hider is pinned and welded to achieve a 16.6 inch overall barrel assembly length. Controls are fully ambidextrous, and the rifle is outfitted with FDE Magpul CTR and MOE-K2 furniture, a Streamlight ProTac RM 2.0 weapon light, and a two-point QD sling.
The lower is marked "GRIFFIN ARMAMENT MK2 CAL. MULTI" with "WATERTOWN, WI U.S.A." and features selector legends SAFE/SEMI/AUTO. The BCM upper includes the forward assist and dust cover and carries the star "BCM" mark. The BCM MCMR-13 handguard is marked with the M-LOK logo and US Patent 8,904,691, and the T-marked top rail runs across the receiver and handguard for consistent accessory placement. An Aero Precision "Breach" ambidextrous charging handle (US Patent 11,187,476) rounds out the control set.

The MK2 lower provides ambidextrous safety and an ambidextrous bolt catch/release, and the Aero Precision Breach ambidextrous charging handle adds confident manipulation from either side. The Magpul CTR collapsible stock and MOE-K2 pistol grip in FDE support a solid shoulder weld and grip angle, with a 6-position stock and a listed length of pull of 11.0 inches.
The BCM MCMR-13 free-float M-LOK handguard offers a 13.0 inch accessory rail length with a T-numbered Picatinny top rail that continues seamlessly from the BCM upper. The handguard’s 6061-T6 aluminum construction and the rifle’s 7075-T6 forged receivers with Type III hardcoat anodizing provide a durable foundation.
Useful additions are already in place: a Streamlight ProTac RM 2.0 weapon light mounted via a Streamlight M-LOK light mount, FDE M-LOK rail cover panels, and a short FDE vertical foregrip. A tan two-point sling with QD swivels is installed for carry. The rifle uses the AR-15/STANAG magazine interface and is listed at 30+1 capacity, and it includes a Strike Industries translucent 30-round magazine.
