What's Included
- Browning Citori 20 gauge over/under shotgun
Built by Miroku in Japan, this Citori carries the correct period markings: Japanese proof and inspection stamps on the barrel monoblock, a Made in Japan barrel legend, and the Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. address. It follows the early 1973–75 Citori serial scheme that used a gauge letter code, and the barrels and forend show matching assembly numbers.
The 26-inch Special Steel barrels have a ventilated, matted rib and a single front bead for a clear sight picture. Chokes are fixed Improved Cylinder and Modified, with star choke marks on the barrel flats confirming the constrictions. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells, and capacity is two rounds with automatic ejectors.
The action is the classic break-action over/under layout with a single trigger and a top-tang safety. The timing of the ejectors and the pristine firing pins reflect careful maintenance and proper function consistent with the model’s reputation for durability.
The walnut stock set wears a gloss finish with point-pattern checkering, a pistol grip, and a beavertail forend. The grip is neutral with very slight right-hand cast-off to aid mount and alignment. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches, offering a straightforward fit for many shooters.
