The VP9 is a full-size, striker-fired pistol from HK's VP Series, built in Germany and marked with the CIP N nitro-proof, Ulm stag antler proof, DE country code, and BF date code for 2015. It also carries the HKI – Columbus GA import mark and has matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame.
The 4.09" cold hammer forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and pairs with a 15+1 capacity. The polymer frame includes an integral accessory rail and a lanyard opening at the rear of the magwell, providing practical mounting and carry options.
Ergonomics are a core strength: the frame ships with interchangeable side panels and an interchangeable backstrap to fine-tune fit. The ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release supports either hand without modification.
