This DPMS Mod. A-15 is a customized AR-15–pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a DTI-marked 16-inch, 1:9-twist barrel and a threaded muzzle. It features Magpul furniture, an A2 front sight base with bayonet lug, and a detachable A2-style carry handle rear sight. The receiver carries the St. Cloud, MN rollmark from DPMS’s Minnesota era, and the rifle includes a 30-round Magpul PMAG and a hard case.

Built by DPMS Panther Arms, the Mod. A-15 is a semi-automatic, direct-impingement AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It is finished in matte black and marked with the St. Cloud, Minnesota rollmark, indicating production from DPMS’s Minnesota era. Capacity is 30+1 rounds.
The 16-inch barrel is stamped "DTI 5.56 NATO 1-9" and uses a 1:9 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56/.223 loads. The barrel is threaded at the muzzle, providing compatibility with standard AR-15 muzzle attachments as desired.
Sighting is classic and robust: an A2 front sight base with bayonet lug paired with a detachable A2-style carry handle rear sight. The carbine-length polymer handguard (MOE-style) includes a bolt-on polymer accessory rail section, and a polymer angled foregrip is installed.
Ergonomics are updated with a Magpul adjustable carbine stock and Magpul pistol grip. The stock provides a telescoping length of pull of approximately 10.75–14.25 inches. The rifle retains a standard manual safety selector and a matte black receiver finish.
