The LCR’s construction pairs a monolithic metal upper frame/topstrap with a polymer fire-control housing, delivering a lightweight, durable two-tone setup with a matte stainless/silver upper and black polymer housing. The stainless cylinder has a dark (blackened) exterior with bright stainless flutes. Its internal, spurless hammer supports snag-free carry and true double-action-only operation.
The friction-reducing cam produces a smooth, consistent trigger pull. A standard Ruger push-button cylinder release and five-shot fluted stainless-steel cylinder keep operation simple and reliable. This 9mm LCR uses moon clips for positive extraction of rimless cartridges.
