The XCR II configuration pairs a stainless barrel with a receiver wearing Remington's dark TriNyte protective finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. The left side of the barrel shank, just forward of the receiver ring, carries the oval REP proof and CF inspector/date stamps, and the rifle was made in the United States in 2011.
Its 24 in tapered sporter stainless barrel balances carry weight and handling. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle has no iron sights. Magazine capacity is 3 rounds in .300 Win. Mag.
The OD-green synthetic stock features black textured overmold grip panels for a secure hold, a raised cheek area for alignment, sling swivel studs for carry options, and a Remington-marked recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.5 in.
Fit and finish present cleanly with a matte stainless barrel and dark TriNyte receiver, with stainless steel construction used for both components. 1-inch rings are already installed, streamlining setup with a compatible optic.
