The 9000S Type F employs a short-recoil, locked-breech, tilting-barrel system. It is a DA/SA design with an ambidextrous manual safety and decocker, a reversible push-button magazine release, and an exposed bobbed hammer. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines, and the barrel measures 3.5 inches.
The slide features Beretta’s open-top architecture with rear serrations and a Bruniton finish. Sights are fixed 3-dot, with a white-dot front blade and a white-dot rear notch for straightforward alignment.
The barrel is steel with a chrome-plated bore and chrome-plated chamber. The frame is fiberglass-reinforced polymer with a rubber overmold, finished in black, and includes a molded stippled grip texture with the Beretta medallion. A lanyard hole is integrated at the rear of the grip.
This Italian-made example bears Italian proof marks, a two-letter Italian date code, and the BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK, MD import mark.
