    What’s Included

    • Scope: Bushnell Banner 4X riflescope with post-and-fine-crosshair reticle
    • Scope Mounts: Conetrol bases and rings (Seguin, Texas)

As a first-generation sporting BAR, this Grade I model delivers the classic gas-operated, semi-automatic action in .30-06 with a 4+1 capacity and a 22 inch barrel. The right-side ejection and short cylindrical bolt handle are true to the early pattern. The barrel is roll-marked "PATENT PENDING," and the serial pattern "M69" indicates 1969 manufacture.

Factory engraving enhances the polished blued receiver; the barrel is plain and carries roll-stamped markings. Scrollwork and game-head panels feature an antelope/pronghorn on one side and a stag/deer on the other. The gloss-finished walnut stock presents a straight comb, checkered pistol grip, and a Browning-branded buttplate, paired with a finely checkered walnut fore-end. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.

The rifle retains useful iron sights, including a hooded ramp front and a folding rear leaf sight. A Bushnell Banner 4X riflescope with a post and fine horizontal crosshair reticle is installed in Conetrol bases and rings from Seguin, Texas for a solid, low-profile mounting solution. Bushnell 4XBanner Riflescope installed.

Built on a steel receiver with a polished blued finish and classic walnut furniture, this 1960s BAR Grade I offers the period-correct features and markings that define the early production sporting models.
