This Security-380 Lite Rack (MPN 03839) is a compact .380 ACP pistol built in 2023 with Ruger’s Lite Rack system for easier slide manipulation, a through-hardened blued steel slide featuring six oval lightening windows, and a green fiber-optic front sight paired with a drift-adjustable rear. It comes with one 15-round and one 10-round magazine and is made in the USA.
The pistol uses Ruger’s Secure Action internal-hammer fire-control system in a single-action, locked-breech, recoil-operated format. An internal hammer and a trigger safety blade are complemented by a manual thumb safety.
Construction centers on a through-hardened alloy-steel slide and barrel over a rigid, hard-coat anodized aluminum chassis with full-length steel guide rails. The grip frame is glass-filled nylon with textured panels and Ruger phoenix logos, finished in black.
Sight configuration includes a green fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a drift-adjustable steel rear with a square notch. An integral three-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail supports lights or other rail-mounted accessories. The design is intended to fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
