The Nano’s modular design centers on a removable, serialized stainless-steel chassis, allowing the polymer grip frame to be replaced while maintaining the firearm’s identity. This U.S.-made example is the micro size variant, designed for minimal bulk with a streamlined, snag-free profile.
Controls are simplified: there is no external manual safety or slide-release lever. The slide locks open on an empty magazine and is released by retracting the slide. A striker-deactivation button and slotted disassembly pin enable takedown without pulling the trigger.
The 3-inch steel barrel wears a nitride finish, and the slide is finished in Beretta’s black nitride (Pronox) with rear serrations for purchase. Sights are low-profile and dovetailed, with a white-dot front and a notched rear that can be removed or replaced.
This pistol is striker-fired with internal safety features, and it uses a single-stack magazine for a 6+1 capacity. An aftermarket red laser is mounted at the dustcover/trigger guard and includes windage adjustment.
