The 580-series configuration (585- prefix) brings the heavier tapered barrel to the Mini-14 Ranch Rifle line. This example pairs that barrel with a stainless receiver and the black synthetic stock for a durable stainless/synthetic All-Weather setup.
The 18.5-inch stainless barrel is cold hammer-forged with a tapered profile and a 1:9 right-hand twist, suited for a wide range of 5.56 NATO loads. The rifle uses Ruger’s semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston action.
Scope mounting is straightforward thanks to integral scope bases machined into the receiver and the installed Picatinny scope base. One-inch Ruger rings are included. Sights consist of an adjustable rear sight; the front sight assembly has been removed as part of the current muzzle device setup.
The black synthetic stock features molded checkering and a rubber buttpad, with a 13.25-inch length of pull. A black polymer handguard with three ventilation holes completes the classic Mini-14 profile. Capacity is 30+1 with the included detachable magazine.
