The Model 669 is a compact 9mm built with a stainless slide over an aluminum-alloy frame, delivering a durable two-tone finish. Its 3.5-inch stainless barrel and rear-only slide serrations support fast handling, while the square trigger guard with front serrations and wrap-around textured black grips with S&W monograms provide secure control.
Controls are straightforward and practical: DA/SA, hammer-fired, and recoil-operated with an exposed spurred hammer. The ambidextrous, slide-mounted safety/decocker includes a red fire indicator dot for quick status confirmation.

This U.S.-made compact belongs to S&W’s Second-Generation family. It is the stainless counterpart to the blued Model 469 and the compact derivative of the full-size Model 659.
