Built on a stamped steel AKM/AK-100–pattern receiver with magazine dimples, this Saiga Legion features the forward AK fire-control group position with a right-side reinforcement plate. The LEGION Izhevsk Russia marking and the Izhmash/Izhevsk factory crest (arrow-in-triangle) on the trunnion confirm its Russian origin, while the Arsenal Las Vegas NV USA import mark ties it to the well-known SGL-style Arsenal/Legion configuration.
The 16.3-inch barrel is threaded and paired with a front sight base that has a detent plunger.
