This M&P9 Shield Plus is the optics-ready, no-thumb-safety configuration built on S&W's micro-compact platform with a 3.1 in barrel. It features a direct-mount RMSc/J-Point footprint, AmeriGlo H3 night sights with an orange-ring front, and a stainless slide and barrel treated with black Armornite. It comes with three 13-round magazines, with two 10-round magazines professionally converted to 13 rounds using MagGuts spring kits, and includes the original OEM magazine internals. The factory box carries a label for SKU 13536, which denotes the Thumb Safety variant; this pistol has no manual thumb safety. The box serial matches the frame.

The Optics Ready submodel provides a direct-mount RMSc/J-Point footprint with a cover plate installed, pairing cleanly with the micro-compact 3.1 in barrel format. Scalloped front and rear slide serrations offer positive purchase on the stainless, Armornite-finished slide.
Sighting is handled by AmeriGlo H3-marked tritium night sights, with an orange-ring front and a tritium rear, giving a clear, bright aiming reference day or night. The flat-face, striker-fired trigger incorporates a trigger safety.
The black polymer frame uses the aggressive M2.0-style texture. The pistol is marked to indicate it is capable of firing with the magazine removed, and the M&P takedown system allows disassembly without pulling the trigger.
Capacity is 13+1 when using the included magazines. Two 10-round magazines have been modified to accept 13 rounds via MagGuts spring kits, and the original OEM magazine internals are included.
