- Vulcan Arms V15 5.56mm AR-15 pistol
- 1x 20-round Magpul PMAG GEN M3 5.56x45 polymer AR-15 magazine
The V15 is designed for a direct-impingement gas system and accepts STANAG-pattern AR-15 magazines. This example has no handguard installed, leaving the stainless gas tube and plain steel gas block exposed; the tube is not pinned/retained at the gas block, so the firearm will not self-cycle until corrected. It runs a smooth cylindrical pistol buffer tube with no stock or brace.
The upper is a flat-top design with a Picatinny rail and is configured without a forward assist or an ejection-port cover. The 8.5 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake/compensator.
Controls are familiar AR layout with a right-side standard magazine release and a 90° safety selector. It is equipped with an A2-style polymer pistol grip. No sights are installed.
The lower receiver is marked "VULCAN ARMS INVER GROVE, MN", "MODEL V15", and "CALIBER 5.56 MM". The finish presents a mixed appearance: black receivers and buffer tube, a gray barrel and gas block, a bright stainless gas tube, and a gray muzzle brake; the pistol is made in the USA. Period V15 receivers were offered in either forged 7075-T6 aluminum or a carbon/aramid composite; the specific receiver material for this example is not specified.
