The bore is excellent, and it comes with two 15-round and one 10-round factory Taurus magazines, including Brazilian-marked bodies and crest details, plus Taurus Miami import markings.

The PT 92 AF uses a DA/SA, hammer-fired, short-recoil system with a falling locking block and an open-top slide. The AF designation denotes the integrated firing pin block, and the safety is frame-mounted for a safety-only configuration.
Construction details include an aluminum-alloy frame/receiver paired with a steel barrel measuring 4.9 in. The slide has rear serrations only, and the dustcover is non-railed; the trigger guard is squared/flat-front (hooked) with front texturing. The external hammer features a serrated spur, and the magazine release is standard.
Sighting is via fixed 3-dot sights (1-dot front, 2-dot rear). Checkered black polymer grips with Taurus medallions provide a solid hold. Capacity is 15+1 with the included double-stack magazines.
Made in Brazil by Forjas Taurus S.A., this pistol carries the Taurus International Mfg. Inc., Miami, FL import mark. Magazine bodies show factory markings, including 'CAL. 9 PARA MADE IN BRAZIL' and the Taurus crest on at least one magazine.
