The Ultra-series 3.0-inch bushingless bull barrel uses an 18 lb recoil spring and full-length guide rod, delivering dependable cycling in a compact 1911 format. Overall length is 6.8 inches with a height of 4.75 inches, a width of 1.28 inches, and an empty weight of 25 oz.
The slide is stainless steel with a matte/satin finish and rear cocking serrations. The lightweight aluminum alloy frame wears a satin silver finish and is marked "YONKERS NY USA." Fit and materials reflect Kimber’s U.S. manufacture.
Controls include a single-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The Series II firing-pin block (Swartz-type) is actuated by the grip safety, adding a passive layer of drop protection. The pistol operates in single-action only with a 1911 platform layout.
It features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized, 3-hole, match-style aluminum trigger. Sights are fixed, low-profile, and dovetailed for a clean, snag-resistant sight picture. Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP.
