This Auto-Ordnance Model of 1927 A1 Deluxe brings the classic Thompson profile in a semi-automatic, .45 ACP carbine format with a 16.5 inch smooth, unported barrel. It comes with both a Type 'L' 50-round drum magazine and a 20-round stick magazine, plus a Thompson-branded hard case, making it a complete and ready-to-enjoy package.

The Model of 1927 A1 Deluxe is a semi-automatic, closed-bolt, blowback Thompson-pattern carbine chambered in .45 ACP. Its 16.5 inch smooth, unported barrel complements the classic top-mounted charging handle and iconic profile.
The receiver is steel with a parkerized finish, paired with walnut furniture throughout. It includes a vertical walnut foregrip with finger grooves, a walnut pistol grip, and a walnut stock with a steel buttplate. A sling swivel is mounted at the stock toe, and the length of pull measures 17.0 inches.
Sighting is via iron sights: a blade front and a protected adjustable ladder rear sight. Controls include a manual safety with a selector marked FIRE/SAFE. The top of the receiver carries the Thompson arrow trademark and a top-mounted charging slot.
Receiver markings include "AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION GREELEY, PENNSYLVANIA, U.S.A." with U.S. patent numbers, and right-side legends "MODEL OF 1927 A1" and "THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE." It accepts Thompson pattern stick and drum magazines; the included Type 'L' drum face plate is marked "MAGAZINE TYPE 'L' ... 50 CARTRIDGES ... FOR 1928 MODEL WIND TO 9 OR 11 CLICKS."
