The IC-9 uses a chamber ring delayed blowback action to run 9mm Luger with control and efficiency. The 8.5 inch CrMoV steel barrel features a salt-bath nitride (NiCorr) treatment for surface hardness and corrosion resistance, a 1:10 RH twist, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads.
LWRCI builds this pistol around a MonoForge upper receiver joined to a forged lower. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch. An ambidextrous charging handle with extended latches and an enhanced, nickel‑teflon coated fire control group round out the handling package.
A hydraulic buffer and extra‑strength flat‑wire spring are included to help manage the operating cycle. The aluminum receivers and handguard wear a Type III hard‑coat anodized finish.
The free‑float M‑LOK aluminum handguard integrates a continuous, T‑marked Picatinny top rail. An adjustable arm brace with a Velcro strap provides user fit options. The pistol accepts double‑stack Glock 9mm magazines and has an approximate overall length of 21.75–25 inches and an unloaded weight of about 5.25 lb. Marked Made in the U.S.A.
