This IC-SPR combines LWRCI's mid-length short-stroke gas piston system with a 16.1 inch, helical-fluted, cold-hammer-forged 41V45 CMV steel barrel. The barrel is NiCorr (nitride) treated, uses an M4 extension, and is threaded 1/2x28 with a factory three-prong open-tine flash hider. A 1:7 RH twist supports a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles.
The rifle is built on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish, paired with LWRCI's IC Monoforge upper. It includes a one-piece nickel-boron coated anti-tilt bolt carrier group for smooth operation and easy maintenance. The free-float Modular Rail System provides a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail and an integrated QD sling cup, with a 12.0 inch rail length.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release, safety selector, and an extended dual-latch ambidextrous charging handle. The rifle includes flip-up front and rear iron sights, an adjustable, collapsible stock, and a textured polymer pistol grip for a secure hold.
The receiver bears IC-SPR variant marking, and the platform is configured for 30+1 capacity in 5.56 NATO. The rifle is finished in black and manufactured in the United States.
