The Cross platform centers on a one-piece aluminum receiver mated to a free-float aluminum M-LOK-style handguard with a continuous T-marked MIL-STD-1913 top rail that spans the receiver and handguard. This provides a rigid interface and uninterrupted mounting surface.
The 16-inch stainless steel barrel is threaded and free-floated for consistency. Per the owner's manual, the barrel system is user-serviceable, supporting maintenance or future barrel work within factory guidelines.
A three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw delivers smooth cycling and scope clearance, paired with a two-stage, user-adjustable trigger for fine-tuning. A right-side safety selector provides familiar, quick access.
The folding aluminum stock features toolless adjustments, including an adjustable cheek piece, adjustable length of pull, adjustable buttpad, and an integrated bag rider. Length of pull is listed at 13.0 inches. An AR-style pistol grip rounds out the ergonomics.
The rifle feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines and ships with a 5-round Magpul PMAG 7.62 AC for a 5+1 capacity. Manufacture is in the USA, and the overall finish is black with black anodized receiver and stock components.
