This Sig Sauer P238 Equinox Custom Shop is a micro .380 ACP single-action pistol with a distinctive two-tone slide and upgraded sights. It features the Equinox Custom Shop slide with brushed/satin stainless flats and a Nitron-darkened top, plus TRUGLO TFO front and SIGLITE rear night sights. It comes with aftermarket silver-tone high-relief scroll grip panels with SIG medallions, an installed black rubber slip-on grip sleeve, and a 7-round magazine with an extended finger-rest baseplate.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The pistol shows significant markings from previous handling and use on exterior surfaces. An installed black rubber slip-on grip sleeve is present on the lower grip/front strap and shows a visible seam/tear. Please refer to the photos for a close look at finish wear and handling marks.

The Equinox Custom Shop slide defines this P238’s look and handling. It pairs brushed/satin stainless flats with a Nitron-dark top on a flat-top profile and rear-only cocking serrations. The right side of the slide is roll-marked Equinox, and the pistol is marked SIG SAUER INC., EXETER-NH-USA.
Sight picture is fast and visible in varied light with a TRUGLO TFO green front sight and a SIGLITE rear night sight. This factory setup provides a bright front reference and a tritium-powered rear for low-light alignment.
The lightweight aluminum-alloy frame wears a hard-coat anodized finish and has a smooth front strap; the vertical grooves seen on the front strap are molded into the removable black rubber slip-on grip sleeve. Controls include a manual thumb safety, and the pistol uses a single-action, exposed spurred hammer.
