Built as a micro-size 9mm, the Solo Carry uses a short-recoil, locked-breech system with a dual recoil-spring assembly to manage the 9mm Luger cartridge in a compact package. Its 2.7" stainless steel barrel includes a loaded-chamber witness port at the hood for quick visual status checks.
The two-tone finish pairs a satin silver, dehorned slide with an external extractor over a matte black KimPro II 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame. Fixed, low-profile 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear for durability and a snag-resistant profile.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual thumb safety and magazine release, and the pistol uses a 1911-style slide stop. Installed Crimson Trace Lasergrips with front-strap activation provide an integrated aiming aid while maintaining a slim, textured grip profile.
Model markings include "SOLO CARRY" on the left slide and the Kimber script on the right, with the frame marked Yonkers, NY U.S.A. The factory box label matches the pistol configuration, and the package includes two 8-round magazines and one 6-round magazine to support an 8+1 capacity with the extended magazines.
