The TX22 T.O.R.O. configuration delivers a full-size 22 LR, striker-fired blowback system with a polymer frame in black, ambidextrous manual safety, and this example’s installed flat-faced trigger shoe does not have a separate hinged safety tab. Capacity is 22+1, and an accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or other rail-mounted add-ons.
The 4.6 in threaded barrel includes a thread protector, and the slide features an optics cut, front and rear serrations, and a top lightening window. Factory sights are present, and the slide-mounted optic uses the optics cut.
A Vortex Defender-CCW micro red dot is installed, providing a 1x view with a 3 MOA red dot. The original Vortex box (DFCCW-MRD3) is included.
An aftermarket FRT Trigger is installed: the Freedom Finger Triggers 22TY "TaurusTX 22 - FRT" flat-faced trigger shoe. This customization provides a flat-profile trigger shoe specific to the TX22.
