The SP101 chambered in .327 Federal Magnum offers a six-round cylinder and is also compatible with .32 H&R Magnum, .32 S&W Long, and .32 S&W ammunition. The cylinder is six-fluted; the caliber rollmark “327 FED. MAG.” appears on the barrel, with model identification corresponding to Ruger’s 5784 catalog number (KSP-32731X).
Construction is all stainless steel with a satin/brushed finish across the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The 3.06 inch barrel carries a full underlug, and the bore uses a 1:16 inch right-hand twist with six grooves. Ruger’s triple-locking cylinder system provides lockup at the front, rear, and bottom of the cylinder.
The revolver runs in DA/SA with an exposed hammer and checkered spur, a smooth-face trigger, and Ruger’s transfer bar safety system. Sighting is fixed: a pinned, replaceable ramp front and an integral rear notch in the topstrap. Overall size is compact.
This example is configured with aftermarket one-piece wood stocks featuring textured/stippled panels. It retains clear model and caliber markings, including RUGER SP101 and 327 FED. MAG., and was manufactured in the USA in 2020. Identification includes UPC 736676057849 and Ruger part number 5784.
