This 2023 Sturm Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk is a full-size, single-action .44 Magnum with a 5.5" cold hammer-forged barrel and classic blued finish. It features a six-shot fluted cylinder, adjustable rear sight, and smooth hardwood grips with Ruger medallions. Built in the USA, it includes the transfer-bar safety system and carries the Newport, NH USA barrel rollmark.
The 5.5" barrel length balances handling with velocity, while the 1:20 RH twist stabilizes common .44 caliber bullets. A round trigger guard, bright-finished hammer and trigger, and a standard crescent ejector-rod head reflect the Super Blackhawk’s traditional configuration. The revolver accepts .44 Special in addition to .44 Magnum, adding flexibility for range or field use.
Alloy-steel construction for the frame, cylinder, and barrel provides durability with a uniform blued finish. The ramped, serrated front sight and adjustable rear sight offer a clear, tunable sight picture.
