The action uses a two-lug bolt with a 70-degree lift and a polished bolt body capped by a round knob. The short bolt throw provides ample scope clearance and smooth cycling while maintaining secure lockup.
The receiver is blued and includes both an integral dovetail and drilled-and-tapped holes, and the ejection port is enlarged for easier single-loading and improved access. There are no iron sights on this configuration.
The black synthetic stock has molded texturing on the fore-end and pistol grip for confident handling, plus the T3x recoil pad and two sling-swivel studs. Length of pull measures 14.0 in, and the safety is a two-position design.
