The Axis action is chambered in .30-06 and uses a long-action detachable box magazine with a 4-round capacity. The 22 inch carbon steel barrel has a sporter profile, a recessed crown, and is unthreaded. The barrel and receiver wear a matte blued finish, while the bolt body is bright (in the white).
The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes fitted with two-piece Weaver-style bases and rings, plus a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope already mounted. The rifle is configured without iron sights.
The synthetic stock wears Next G-1 Micro-Print camouflage and includes a straight comb, molded grip and fore-end texturing, and sling studs. A ventilated rubber recoil pad and a 13.25 inch length of pull contribute to a stable, practical fit.
