This USP Expert configuration pairs a 5.2 in cold hammer forged barrel with a fitted muzzle O-ring and an extended slide to maximize lockup consistency and sight radius. The barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the slide carries rear serrations only to preserve the long, heavy profile characteristic of the Expert.
The fire control system is DA/SA with a match trigger and an adjustable stop, offering a tuned break and consistent reset. Controls include an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and a manual safety, with a spurred external hammer for confident manipulation.
Sighting is handled by a tall plain front blade and a micrometer-adjustable target rear sight with protective wings, allowing precise windage and elevation adjustments. The frame incorporates an accessory rail for mounting compatible equipment.
Built on a fiber-reinforced polymer frame, the pistol uses the USP dual-spring recoil-reduction system to moderate slide impulse. The slide wears HK's 'Hostile Environment' nitrocarburized matte black finish. This pistol is made in Germany and marked with DE and CIP N proofs, with HKI – Columbus, GA import marking.
