The takedown configuration uses a recessed lever and a knurled barrel-lock adjustment ring, allowing the barrel assembly to separate from the receiver quickly for transport or storage. A barrel band at the forend tip and barrel-mounted sights keep key components together on the forward section. Both the front and rear sights are mounted on the barrel.
The 16 in alloy steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, threaded 1/2"-28, and fitted with a factory flash suppressor. The 1:16" right-hand twist supports a wide range of .22 LR loads, and the barrel wears a matte black finish consistent with the rest of the rifle.
The receiver is an aluminum alloy unit finished in black and drilled and tapped for a scope base (included). The black glass-filled polymer stock features molded checkering for grip and factory-installed sling swivel studs. Overall length is approximately 36.75 in, with a catalog weight of about 4.6 lb and a 13.5 length of pull.
Sight alignment is straightforward with a gold-bead front post and a folding, adjustable rear sight, both mounted on the barrel. The BX-series rotary magazine system provides a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR, feeding a simple semi-automatic blowback action.
