The V-Bob configuration pairs a Commander-length 4.25 inch match barrel with a traditional bushing for tight lockup and consistent performance. Rear cocking serrations only keep the slide clean and purposeful, and the overall size maintains the compact profile of the platform.
Both slide and frame are stainless steel with a matte bead-blast finish for a uniform, non-reflective look. The front strap and mainspring housing are checkered for secure handling, and the frame features a beveled magazine well to aid reloads. The frame is rollmarked Norwich, NY U.S.A.
The bobtail mainspring housing and bobtail-cut black double-diamond grips define the V-Bob profile. A beavertail grip safety with memory pad and a single-sided thumb safety provide the classic 1911 control layout, complemented by a solid, medium-length trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
Sighting is handled by tritium night sights: a dovetailed front sight with a luminous dot and a Heinie rear marked Trijicon H3 09. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and this pistol includes three 8-round magazines along with its factory case, manual, and dated fired-case envelope (April 6, 2010).
