This distributor-limited run is a Lipsey's exclusive Alaskan Bush Rifle configuration of the M77 Hawkeye series, often referred to as the Ruger Brush Gun limited run. It is chambered in .35 Whelen with a 4+1 capacity and marked to SKU 57196 for the specific configuration.
The 20-inch unthreaded stainless barrel and satin stainless receiver are set up with iron sights: a ramped front with white bead and a barrel-island express-style V-notch rear. The satin stainless finish provides a uniform look across the barrel, receiver, and hinged floorplate.
The M77 Hawkeye action uses controlled-round feed with a non-rotating Mauser-type claw extractor. It features a three-position, bolt-locking safety and Ruger's LC6 trigger.
