Built on the M&P9 Shield Plus micro frame, this pistol uses Smith & Wesson's staggered-column magazine system to deliver a 15+1 capacity in a compact 9mm format. The striker-fired action pairs with a flat-faced trigger and a trigger safety, and the polymer frame wears textured grip panels for secure control.
The slide is optics cut and finished in matte black with rear serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded chamber viewport at the rear of the barrel hood. The slide is marked "CAUTION–CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED." This example is the NTS configuration with no external manual thumb safety.
Factory night sights include an orange-ring tritium front (H3/TG-H3 marked) and a steel notch tritium rear (H3 marked), providing a bright, defined sight picture. The Viridian RFX11 micro reflex sight comes installed as part of the bundle, with the factory optics-cover plate also included.
