This compact MAC 9 DS follows the proven 2011 pattern and uses STI/Staccato-pattern double-stack 1911 magazines. Capacity is 17+1, aided by a large flared magazine well and a polymer grip module with molded texture and the MAC shield logo for confident control.
The 4.25 in bushingless bull barrel with a target crown pairs with a single-action, hammer-fired system and a skeletonized trigger for a crisp feel. The slide wears front and rear cocking serrations, while both the slide and forged-steel frame receive a QPQ Tenifer finish for corrosion and wear resistance.
Sights are straightforward and fast: a fiber-optic front and a serrated black, dovetailed rear. The slide is cut for optics and arrives with a removable cover plate installed separately in the case.
Practical features continue with an M1913 accessory rail on the dustcover, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety. Markings include TÜRKİYE, TİSAŞ, and MILITARY ARMAMENT CORP., KNOXVILLE, TN. Approximate overall length is 7.9 in, with an empty weight of about 30 oz.
