The Model 107 Military variant is known for its grip frame that emulates the M1911 angle, providing a familiar feel for many shooters. This example was built in East Hartford in 1978 during the ML-prefix period and is configured for precision rimfire target work.
The 7.25 in fluted heavy target barrel adds stability, while four tapped holes on the underside provide factory provision for barrel weights. Sight alignment is handled by a Patridge-style front blade on a ramped base and a bridge-mounted, micrometer-adjustable rear sight.
Controls and handling features include an adjustable, serrated trigger, a heel-type magazine release, and a lever-type takedown located ahead of the trigger guard. The slide has vertical serrations at the rear for positive manipulation.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish across the slide, frame, and receiver. Checkered walnut target grips with a left thumb-rest support a steady hold, and the 10+1 capacity complements its semi-automatic blowback, single-action operation.
