The GI Standard FS configuration delivers the traditional 5-inch Government-length barrel, full-size steel frame, and classic GI-style fixed sights. Both the slide and frame wear a black Parkerized finish that reflects the original service look and provides a uniform, matte appearance.
Controls and features follow the GI pattern: single-action, recoil-operated system; single-sided thumb safety and grip safety; short, solid trigger; and spur hammer. The slide has rear-only vertical serrations and a standard-height ejection port. The front sight is a staked blade, and the rear is a fixed square-notch unit dovetailed into the slide.
It retains a straightforward, duty-style setup with a checkered magazine release for positive manipulation and smooth hardwood grips for a classic feel. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazine.
Manufactured by Armscor in the Philippines, this pistol carries the importer mark APINTL – Pahrump, NV, with additional markings indicating Philippine manufacture. The frame is marked "M1911 A1 - FS," and the original box label confirms the GI Standard FS series under SKU 51421.
