This Sig Sauer P229 Legion is a compact, DA/SA alloy-frame pistol configured for .40 S&W via a barrel swap. The factory outer label lists catalog code E29R-357-LEGION with original .357 SIG chambering and X-RAY sights; the current setup uses TG-H3 tritium night sights and a .40 S&W barrel. It comes in excellent condition with the Legion soft case and challenge coin, plus the factory hard case and two 12-round magazines.

The P229 Legion platform delivers a compact, aluminum-alloy frame with a gray finish, Legion branding on the slide, and checkered grips featuring Legion chevron medallions. It is a DA/SA pistol with an exposed spur hammer, decocker, and a reversible magazine release, offering familiar ergonomics and control layout.
This pistol was originally chambered in .357 SIG per the factory label but is currently configured in .40 S&W through a barrel swap. Capacity is 12+1 with the included .40 S&W-pattern magazines. The barrel length is 3.9 inches. The original .357 SIG barrel is not included.
Factory-style night capability is provided by dovetailed TG-H3 tritium sights front and rear, with a green-lamped TG-H3 front sight. The slide includes front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
Frame features include an integral 3-slot accessory rail, an undercut trigger guard, and a checkered frontstrap. The frame is marked SIG SAUER INC., EXETER-NH-USA, with the factory label dated 05-NOV-2016 and country of origin listed as United States.
