The PPQ 45 M2 delivers a 12+1 capacity in a full-size .45 ACP platform with a 4.25-inch nitrided, non-threaded barrel and a 1:16 twist. This variant aligns with Walther Art.-No. 2807076, the standard PPQ 45 (non-SD) configuration. It bears DE CIP N proof marks, "Made in Germany" markings, and a Walther Arms Fort Smith AR import stamp.
Controls and firing system include a striker-fired, short-recoil action, a reversible push-button magazine release, and Walther's Quick Defense trigger with short 0.4-inch travel and a 5.6 lb pull weight. Safety features consist of a trigger safety blade and three passive safeties. A right-side magazine release button kit is included and not installed.
Sight picture is fast and clean with the installed red fiber-optic front blade and a black screw-adjustable notch rear. The slide has front and rear serrations with a black nitride finish. The polymer frame includes an accessory rail and textured gripping surfaces.
This pistol includes five 12-round steel magazines and a fitted factory case corresponding to MPN 2807076. A removable grip tape wrap is installed to enhance traction and can be taken off as desired. The PPQ series later gave way to the PDP line, placing this .45 in a known lineage as Walther's first production .45-caliber pistol introduced in 2016.
